State of emergency with children in Astana: trampoline was blown away

On May 4 a trampoline with children were blown away by the wind in Astana near the “Zhannur” trading house along Valikhanov Street as reported in the Department of Internal Affairs of Astana. According to the data provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the trampoline flew about 20 meters from the fixation site.

Within 7 minutes police and ambulance arrived. Five children were sent to the second children’s city hospital in Astana. “Two children of 2011 and 2014 years of birth received multiple injuries. The child of 2012 was hospitalized with the diagnosis of “Closed craniocerebral injury, brain concussion.” A child born in 2011 was diagnosed with “closed craniocerebral trauma, concussion of the brain and hematoma of the temporal region on the right. ” The child of 2010 year of birth got the diagnosis of stretching the ligaments of the right forearm, a bruise on the left leg,” the press service of the Committee for Emergency situations  informed yesterday, on May 4.

“Four children are currently in the department of anesthesiology, resuscitation and intensive care. Their condition is assessed as difficult. One child was hospitalized with a department of neurosurgery. At the moment, the doctors are taking all the necessary measures, ” the press service of the Public Health Service has noted.

“Policemen of Astana started pre-trial investigation under Article 306 part 2 of the Republic of Kazakhstan  Criminal Code  (provision of services that do not meet the security requirements) on the fact of the incident,” ministry says.

At the moment the youngest child Korkem who is 3,7 years old still in a coma. This is reported by the girl’s mother Zaure to the NUR.KZ correspondent. “She cannot breathe,” Zaure adds.
