Earlier this position was held by Bakhytzhan Sagintayev.
Mamin Askar Uzakpayevich was born on October 23, 1965 in Tselinograd.

He was appointed First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the government of Bakytzhan Sagintayev on September 9, 2016.
