The Sports Games, where the main prize is 100 thousand tenge has started within the walls of the Eurasian National University on the 3rd of March.
This event is related to the “Year of Youth”. Sports day is held by the youth center “Zhas Otan”. The purpose of this event is to engage students in a healthy lifestyle.
More than hundred students will compete with each other. 12 youth clubs and creative communities of the university are participating in the Games. The games take place in 7 directions: volleyball, football, “тогыз кумалак” , chess, darts, table tennis and “Көңілді старт”. There already have been chess and “тогыз кумалак” competitions in the main campus and football and volleyball games held in “Eurasia” sports complex. The Game will continue until the 11th of March.
