Education and Science Minister Yerlan Sagadiyev supported the proposal not to deprive students scholarships for the mark three and this news are very good for all students, since it’s very important for the students. They study and work to get an increased scholarship and also to keep their scholarships. On the one hand, the idea of not depriving the scholarships for students is wrong.
At the MES collegium, there was a proposal to pay scholarships to students regardless of the grades received. “We understand that many teachers are not interested in grading students satisfactorily and unsatisfactorily, because in this case students enrolled in a state educational grant will lose scholarships. Considering that the scholarship is for the most part a means of social support students, we support the proposal on the possibility of awarding scholarships to students who receive marks not only “excellent” and “good”, but also “satisfactory”, – said the rector of KazGUU University Talgat Narikbaev.
“We, ourselves, are closely following the situation with horoshina and excellent students. We generally think the idea is reasonable, if it reduces corruption, improves the rigor in evaluating our students. Let’s discuss,” supported Minister Sagadiev. Firstly, according to him, you need to check how scholarships are paid now.
At the moment, the size of the monthly scholarship is 20,000 for one bachelor’s student, and the increased one is 25 thousand.
