In social networks spread photos from the trading house “Alem”. The pictures show that when creating a mosaic floor of cut tiles used fragments of monuments with portraits of dead people.
Natalia Andreeva at first did not even understand why her friends throw off a link to the publication of mourning portraits in a mosaic on the floor of the new premises for trade. But when she saw the photos and videos, she froze: her father, who died 15 years ago, looked at her from the mosaic.
Natalia recognized not only the photo, but also the tile itself, which hung on the monument for 10 years. “My father, Krechetov Evgeny Gennadievich , was buried at the Ablaketka cemetery in the spring of 2004,” she said.
In 2014, it was decided to give the monument for restoration to make some features clearer. Arriving at the cemetery, the artist refused to restore the old photo and offered to make a new one. The monument was removed and taken away for alteration.
“We were sure that the old photo was disposed of because it was not returned to us. And 5 years later I found out this terrible news! How could you treat work like that? Why didn’t they take people’s photos?”- says Natalia. And now, where the man’s face was depicted, there are buyers.
Natalia made a statement to the police. She was told that it was not yet known whether they would take up a criminal case or have to go to court.
Moreover, there was not one person, but several!
