“Adil, Adil, Adil” (“Адиль”)- Barys Arena was filled by these exclamations on April 21. Hundreds of Astana residents came to the concert of their favorite singer Scriptonite. For technical reasons, the beginning of the concert was delayed for an hour and half, for which the rapper immediately apologized. Suddenly one person felt ill. Adil noticed this and asked for immediate first aid.
The concert began with the presentation of the new album “Uroboros” (“Уроборос”). Surprisingly, Adil was extremely talkative, as he himself noticed. He decided to share the story of writing the track “Luchshe vseh” (“Лучше всех”). According to him, the situation described in the track really happened in Omsk. One guy during the concert grabbed the foot of the singer, which prompted the rapper to write the song. Scriptonite calls for respect and not to succumb to excessive fanaticism.
Spectators happened to be so-called “experimentals” new arrangement of the album. Notes of punk rock were added in the “Zhivotnye” (“Животные”) and other songs. Probably, it can be beginning of Scriptonite’s creation new direction. In his online broadcast last year, he said that rap, as a genre, outlived itself for Adil. Perhaps, this is the start of a new chapter? Who knows.
Adil also turned to the fans with two requests. It was thought that negotiations were under way with him about a free concert in Pavlodar. Scriptonite himself assured that there aren’t and weren’t any official negotiations. Referring to Pavlodar, Adil had a “cry from the heart”. He convincingly asked to repair the route Astana-Pavlodar and, in particular, the road to the Leninsky settlement, where he comes from. He said that on the road from Leninsky to Pavlodar no streetlights and even buses go in this area. The artist also asked about the allocation of at least one shuttle bus from the car park for residents.
Non-indifference was shown by other members of the team. Niman supported Scriptonite throughout the concert. Even the last song “Stil’” (“Стиль”) was performed by Niman himself. Since the hall was hot and stuffy, people naturally thirsted for water. Niman regularly distributed bottles of water to the audience, while calling for respect for each other and chivalry from the guys: “Guys, if you caught a bottle of water, give the girls, remember the same?”. It was evident that the Kazakh singers were happy to be in their homeland, which jokingly boasted to their musicians-colleagues from other countries. A surprise was prepared in the form of performances by Benz and Truwer from the Jillzay group. They sang a well-known hit “Bar 2 lesbuhi” (“Бар 2 лесбухи»).
That evening, fans heard tracks from all albums and popular singles by Scriptonite. At parting Adil thanked everyone for their presence, bowed low and sent an air kiss to everyone.
