“Kings of the dance floor” was held in the Eurasian National university on February 23, but it is not a film by Benson Lee. It is a competition, the prize money is 300.000 tg. Organizer has been the Assembly of students of the ENU named after L. N. Gumilyov.
Participants of the casting needed to show a dance performance and juri members had to select among them. Students of our university, from other universities, even formed dance collectives have come to win.
For instance, “AriZona” dance group, whose founder and leader is Jadi Kuregenova, has presented the real show! Bright, beckoning, enchanting India was demonstrated by dancers of “AriZona”. Indian melody under the contemporary beat, dance with girl who was sitting in the hall – all of these were in the “AriZona’s” performance.
“Team solo mix” has been following participants of the competition. This dance crew consists of five incendiary boys, rabid charisma, acrobatic tricks and hip-hop. Kairat Madiyev, Adil Zhantayev, Erbol Merekeuly, Zharas Khamidullin, Mukhtar Kunay are the students of ENU. They are also members of university dance ensemble Samruk.
About dozen of participating groups have been chosen by the ending of the casting. Wish all participants good luck and look forward to them in the next round!
