Kazakhstani director and clip maker Aisultan Seitov gave an interview to Russian journalist Yuri Dud. Dud came to Seitov in Los Angeles for the interview. Aisultan told about his family, about life and education in America, about shooting videos, relationships with Aya Shalkar and about many other things.
“My mom is currently a student, studying for a master’s degree in engineering, she entered a grant in London. My father, I would call him a Hasler. My parents are divorced, and every time I come, my father does new things, he tells me about it. It’s a business”- told Seitov about his parents.
To pay his study in America, his family had to sell an apartment in Kazakhstan. The year of his study costs about 35-40 thousand dollars, but he was given a discount of almost 50 percent, told Seitov.
It also became known about the relationships between Aisultan and the model Aya Shalkar. During the discussion about the clip of Kazakhstan rapper Jah Khalib “Medina” Yuri Dud asked how the director managed to make Aye Shalkar blue eyes.
“These are her eyes. She was born with such beautiful appearance, unreal beauty “, – explained Aisultan.
“Now you seemed to be making an address compliment to the girl. As if you was trying to hit on her,”- Dud joked.
“I’m not hitting on her, because she’s my girlfriend. We knew each other, but we never talked closely and we were very in touch during the shooting of the video. I told her how to play. After shooting, I had pneumonia, and I went on a date with a temperature of 39. I think if I didn’t go, we wouldn’t be dating now,”-Aisultan admitted.
Yuri Dud also raised the topic of earnings.
“A year and a half ago, you said that your shooting day cost 300,000 rubles. What about now?” – asked interviewer.
“A year and a half ago, I wildly regretted saying this. Now it seems to everyone that I get this kind of money every day, but this is far from true. I will not say how much my shooting day is costs”
“But is it worth more than 300,000?”
“Yes” – answered Aisultan.
Aisultan also said that if there is no money for film school, but there is a desire to go to the cinema, better watch a lot of films, analyze them, read books about cinema, and also ask for an assistant on the cinema.
Aisultan was born on January 31, 1997, he is currently 22 years old. He has shot clips like “Lambada” (Lambada) for Scriptonite, “I Got Love” for MiyaGi & Endshpil, “Doroga” (Road) for L’One and for others.
