The uniqueness of the nature of East Kazakhstan is that here you can see almost all types of landscape: deserts, canyons, steppes, forests, Alpine meadows and mountains, whose height is 4,500 meters above sea level. All the diversity of flora and fauna of the region is represented in 24 national nature protection zones with an area of 1.7 million hectares, which contain more than 600 historical monuments, as well as 100 tourism monuments.
The Rakhmanov Lake is included in the list of 55 interesting and beautiful places in Kazakhstan for tourists to visit. The depth of the lake itself reaches 30.6 meters, and the water temperature even in summer does not exceed 10-12 degrees Celsius. It is located among mountain slopes covered with forests. Near the lake, there are many springs-the exit of healing thermal waters, which this area is famous for. Here is located between two picturesque lakes at the bottom of a spacious stone bowl sanatorium “Rakhmanovskie Klyuchi”, known for therapeutic treatment in the field of gastrointestinal and musculoskeletal diseases. It is believed that water has a beneficial effect on the health of the human body.
