On May 3, the Eurasian National University hosted a competition for the title of the best, strongest and most talented guy in the university. “Ержігіт- 2018” competition, dedicated to the day of the defenders of the Kazakhstan Republic was organized by Department of Social and Civil Development. Rector of the University Erlan Battashevich(Сыдыков Ерлан Батташевич) traditionally performed with his speech, congratulating all the selected contestants. The jury included such outstanding people of the country as aitysker Amanzhol Altaev(Аманжол Алтаев), Honored worker of labor Dosymzhan Tanatarov(Досымжан Танатаров), soloist of the Presidential Orchestra Oralkhan Altynbek(Оралхан Алтынбек), TV journalist Nursultan Kurman(Нурсултан Курман), executive secretary of the Youth Department “Zhas Otan” branch “Nur” of the party “Nur Otan” Bolysbek Mukhamedzhan(Болысбек Мухамеджан). Muhamedzhan already has experience in such an event, 6 years ago he won the title “Ержігіт- 2012”.
This year the winner of the contest was Alaidar Ramazan(Алайдар Рамазан), student of the Mechanics and Mathematics faculty. The students of the Pysical and Technical faculty Nurgaliyev Azamat(Нургалиев Азамат) and Slyamov Erasyl(Слямов Ерасыл) won the1 and the 2 places. The student of the Faculty of Social Sciences Mubarakuly Abdullah(Мубаракулы Абдуллах) was declared the owner of the third place. The winners in nominations “Көрермен көзайымы”, “Өнерлі жігіт”, “Білікті жігіт”, “Алғыр жігіт”, “Парасатты жігіт” were also presented.
