The first news about the disease were exposed by the girl’s mother’s instagram on May 17, 2018, @mrs.kopey. In early March, Alima fell on the couch leg on her coccyx. At first, the parents did not notice anything unusual, but later Aizhan saw a small ledge in the place of hit. The troubled mother immediately took the child to surgeons and traumatologists, but everyone claimed a minor injury. Meanwhile, Alima was feeling worse.
When the pot problems started, the mother took the girl to the gynecologist on May 8, which was a turning point. The gynecologist noticed that something was wrong and sent the parents to the surgeon, and he sent to the city hospital, where the girl suggested a benign tumor.
After that Alima moved to Korea, where doctors reported a malignant tumor and the need to do chemistry. The girl was diagnosed with a malignant sacrococcygeal teratoma. Doctors gave only 10% of what Alima will survive.
“HELP!!! BEMAILED !!! Alima and I are lying in oncology in Seoul! The child is suffering, and my heart is dying … ”- the girl’s mother wrote in the instagram on May 14, 2018.
The parents did not have enough money for the treatment of the baby, and they turned to the people for help. Not indifferent Kazakhstanis and residents of foreign countries instantly responded to the cry of help from their parents. 14 million tenge was collected in one day. Today.kz reported that a resident of New York opened a fundraiser for Alima on a crowdfunding platform. For three days almost $ 16,000 was credited to the account.
Many Kazakhstani stars also responded. Singer Lido put on sale an expensive dress and transferred the proceeds for the treatment of Alima.

The little patient was undergoing treatment in Korea and Germany. Later, Alima was treated at an oncology center in the United States.
