On March 9, the performance of the teams of the Club of Merry and Resourceful (КВН) season 2017 was held in the Concert Hall “Kazakhstan” in Astana. Such teams like “Asia MIX”, “Борцы” (“Borcy”), “Плюшки Ярослава Мудрого” (“Pluyshky Yaroslava Mudrogo”) and” Sparta Nomad Astana “, which were liked by the audience through TV- game, performed. The game was symbolically called “International Women’s Laugh”, coincide with the International Women’s Day. The host of the evening was the former member of the KVN team “Astana KZ” – Malik Khаsenov.
This game was special for each team, not only because of the holiday. “Asia MIX” team – the members of the Supreme League of 2016 – came from Bishkek in their full in their classic roles – as well as in the big game in Moscow. This is not the first performance of the team from Kyrgyzstan in Astana – last year they came to the capital for a speech at the Summer Cup in 2017.
“Плюшки”, who came from Tver, surprised the audience with their extraordinary humor and an interesting approach. It is important to note that the season of 2017 was debut in the Supreme League.for the team from Tver.
“Борцы” from Surgut attracted the attention of the Kazakh spectator at the first stage of the contest – in the “Visit Card”. The only team consisting entirely of men, at the stage of greeting, gave women from team-colleagues flowers in honor of the holiday.
The team of Kazakhstan was welcomed in the capital very warmly – they first performed at home after winning the KVN Supreme League in Moscow. It is important to note the fact that over 17 years of playing in the Club of Merry and the Resourceful, Kazakhstan has never won the highest award in any of its compositions until December of last year. As the team members themselves noted, last year was the most successful for them. In 2017, they won the Big Golden KiViN at the music festival as part of Sparta Nomad Astana team, took first place at the Summer Cup in Astana as part of a joint team from Kazakhstan (artists who became famous thanks to КВН – Nurlan Koyanbaev, Tursynbek Kabatov , Daut Shaikhislamov, Kumar Lukmanov and others were among them) and became champions of the Supreme League as part of “Sparta”.
The game consisted of three stages – “Visit Card”, “Workout” with questions from the audience and “Musical homework”, each of which was accompanied by loud applause of the hall.
After the final song, the team from Kazakhstan personally thanked their mentors, their friends and family, including the Daniyar Dzhumadilov’s(the captain of the “Sparta” team)brother, Nurlan Koyanbayev, who sat in the hall as a guest and spectator, host Malik Khasenov, giving them memorable medals on stage.
At different stages the teams presented their old jokes that had become their business cards, and new ones, proving that KVN is not the same, but it is still good.
