How Russian woman started a video blog about Kazakhstan music

A girl from Ufa started a video blog dedicated to the modern music of Kazakhstan. Veronika Sandakova lays out the so-called reactions to the video of Kazakhstani performers for about three years. There is a famous group Ninety One and these guys, the founders of Q-pop (Qazaq-pop), started fascinating Veronica for Kazakhstani culture.

“For seven years I have been keen on South Korean culture, and in one of the communities I watched a Ninety One video on VKontakte. I really liked it, but at that time I was uploading a video with dancing on my channel. Then I decided to record a video about Kazakhstan boysband and Youtube users began asking for new “reactions,” says a 21-year-old student at Ufa State Aviation University.

Also, Veronika says that she likes the songs of Moldanazar, Azamat Syzdykov and Dimash Kudaybegenov. She listens to the songs of Aidana Medenova, the group “Dzheyran” and Renzo, Erke Esmahan. She even learned a couple of Kazakh words, as some of her subscribers speak Kazakh to her. She wants to visit Almaty and Astana, and also Shymkent, Atyrau, Aktau, Baikonur, Kostanay and other cities. She also wants to see the Big Almaty Lake and the Shymbulak skiing base.
