Kazakhstan director and clip maker Aisultan Seitov made a clip for American rappers 21 Savage and J. Cole. The clip was released on 21 Savage’s official Youtube channel on the 1st of February. The clip was filmed for the track “A lot” from the new album “I am>I was”, which was released in December 2018. The video scored 8 million views and was placed on the main trends in three days. The shooting place took place in a mansion in Atlanta in January 2019. The clip shows a large family gathered together for a family dinner. In parallel with cozy frames of the happy family, each of the people at the table had difficult life situation.
The clip received good approval from the both Kazakh and foreign audiences. Kazakhstan bloggers responded to the post in Instagram. Nagima Akhmetova, more known by nickname Nagimuwa, commented: “Pride!”. Russian performer L’One reposted the post of Aisultan on his instagram page and added: “This is story about the dream. About the guy, who told me, that one day he will direct clips for foreign artists. And this the first swallow. This is the story about @aisultan. Happy Birthday, talent! The sky is not a limit! I’m proud!”
Aisultan was born on January 31, 1997, he is currently 22 years old. While studying at the New York Film Academy, he shot the short film “The Jackal”, which won the 2016 New York Film Festival Hollywood Boulevard in the nomination “Best Direction”.
In 2018, he made a clip for Ivan Dorn named “Africa”, which was shot in Uganda. He also became the director of clips “Ламбада” for Scriptonite, “I Got Love” for MiyaGi&Endshpil, “Дорога» for L’One and for others.
