On April 23, the opening ceremony and competition in the first nomination “Vocal” of the annual youth festival “Zhastar Zhalyny – 2018″(«Жастар Жалыны -2018») took place in the Eurasian National University. The very first competition among students of 14 higher educational institutions of the country in the nomination “vocal” was held in ENU. Subsequent 9 competitions such as the best video “Media”, competitions on bumperball “Zhuzden zhuirik”(“Жүзден жүйрік”) “Competition of folk dances”, “Contest of modern dances”, competitions of fans “Zhastar Kuyaty”(“Жастар қуаты”), “Poetry”, “Photo”, “Best theatrical production”,”Competition of musicians-instrumentalists” will be held in such higher educational institutions as Kazakh Agrotechnical University, Medical University Astana and others.
This year it is timed to the 20th anniversary of the capital. Creative competition is one of the most anticipated and large-scale events that unites gifted students from different universities. More than 1000 students of the country will have a chance to show their uniqueness, to make themselves known to the large public. The “Zhastar Zhalyny” project is aimed to develop and identify creative youth, attracting it to active participation in the cultural and social life of he city. Names of winners in 10 categories will be known at the gala concert, which will be held on April 30 in the concert hall of the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation.
