Today, on April 21, a citywide clean-up is held in Astana. Earlier, at the staff meeting, Astana akim instructed to ensure the purity of the city.
Educational institutions, state bodies, as well as companies take part in the citywide clean-up. The clean-up day is held within the ecological campaign “Astana is a clean and safe city”. The purpose of the clean-up held under the slogan “We are for a clean city!” is the preservation of purity in the streets of the capital and the formation of ecological culture among citizens.
Clean-up day will held in all three districts of Astana city: Esil, Almaty and Saryarka. Also, trees will be planted on the streets of Kenesary, Shevchenko and Kubrin.
