Burabay is a national nature Park in Kazakhstan. The Park is considered to be the pearl of the country. Kazakhs and foreigners with delight go on vacation to Burabay not only in summer, but all year round. The pearl of Kazakhstan -Burabay is located in the Northof Kazakhstan in Akmola region, near the city of Kokshetau. The resort is famous for its natural and animal diversity.
Fauna includes about 300 species of vertebrates, flora – about 800 species of forest and meadow plants. Burabay is famous and recognizable also because of the “Borovoe” group of lakes, which are favorite place for swimming and recreation. One of the most famous lakes of 14 available on the territory of the resort are Borovoe lake, Big Chebachye and Small Chebachye, Shchuchye. Tourists and the people of Kazakhstan happy to take pictures and admire the views over the iconic rocks of Zhumbaktas and Okzhetpes. Borovoe conceals a lot of legends about which adults with interest tell their children. Therefore, looking at the rock “Zhumbaktas” you will see in the stone the mysterious shape of a girl and an old woman from the other side. The beauty and mystery of the rock consist of its arrangement in the middle of the lake “Borovoe”. Rock “Okzhetpes” is seen from the beginning of resort zone and located in the centre of it. Many see the outline of animals in that rock. For example, someone sees the shape of an elephant, turtle and other animals.
One of the main attractions of Burabai is Abylai Khan glade. The glade of Abylay Khan welcomes each and everyone, being the face of Burabay. In the center of the clearing stands a stele, which was built in honor of the 280th anniversary of Abylai Khan, and behind it among the pine trees hides the granite throne of the great ruler. On a glade of the great Kazakh ruler it is possible to meet manual Golden eagles with which it is possible to be photographed for a separate payment. It is believed that in ancient times the territory of Burabay Park was a favorite place for berkuts to hunting. An interesting fact is that the glade is different with the special microclimat. Walking there helps to rejuvenate the body and improve the health of the person. The resort has various health sanatoriums and children’s camps. Popularity and demand for recreation in Burabay is growing every year. The natural area of the resort makes you feel better, also because of the mud held in sanatoriums effective struggling with the diseases of bones and backbone.
